INTEGRATED PROJECT:
ROYAL PAVILION
We are the team of the Built Environment by the Office of the Sultan of Perak (Your Highness Sultan Dr. Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, the 35th Sultan of Perak) to build one of the Royal Pavilions at Taiping Lake Gardens. The Pavilion is design to commemorate Sultan Dr. Nazrin’s father, the late Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah about his SINGLE particular contribution, service or significant occasion during his reign to the State of Perak and Malaysia. The details about this project are as follows:
· Project Type: Special Project (Projek Khas)
· Building Type: Single storey pavilion
· Concept: Design oriented/harmony to the Taiping Lake Gardens.
· Location/Site: Taiping Lake Gardens, Perak (refer to the above Site Plan)
· Plot Area: Nett floor area of 8 metre (length) x 8 metre (width) and maximum height = 6 metre
· Additional Plans/Maps: If any, from Google Map/Earth, JUPEM & Taiping Municipal Council
· Design Approach: Plane Elements as generator of form (refer to Schroder House and Falling Water). Possible with angle/orientated & curvilinear plane. Plane main construction material is reinforced concrete.
